Oil Warning light on my new 2.0 16v

Recommended Posts

hoping for some enlightenement, just got my corrado on saturday, 2.0 16v 106k. when i test drove it the oil warning light went off, there was too much oil in the engine, the guy immediately got the oil changed and the filter, took it for a test drive and it was fine. I have done about 250 miles and light (and annoying buzzer) never came on. But now it has come twice, I have checked the oil and it is at the maximum, anyone got any advice/ideas? Thanks, apart from that the car is wicked!

i am not sure but the guy was aware that it had to be very specific, i can only assume that the right oil was used

I wouldn't assume it. First thing i done when i got my rado is get a full service done including cambelt change. Put my mind at rest anyway.
