Valerian 0 Posted February 24, 2006 My front bumper on my C has been pushed back due to someone backing into my car. Do i need to change the whole bumper to correct it's positioning or can i just change all four brackets?
Valerian 0 Posted February 26, 2006 Do the brackets seperate from the bumper? In Etka it doesn't really show how they are mounted to the bumper.
Shilakadaddy 0 Posted February 27, 2006 yes the bumper is mounted to the brackets with plastic clips (about 10), can't remember if there are any screws also, but you can separate the two.
bcstudent 0 Posted February 27, 2006 Four brackets? There are only two that bolt to the back of the main bumper iron and slide into the chassis legs. The plastic pumper cover clips to the front of the bumper iron.

There are the two you mention and also one on either side that the ends of the bumper slide into
bcstudent 0 Posted February 27, 2006 Ah, right. I see what you mean now. So in answer to your original question...'yes, the brackets do unbolt from the main bumper iron'. I guess you know that the two plastic guides the bumper ends slide into are bolted to the front wings?
