Will a G60 starter fit a VR6 box???

As above, Gazmans starter has packed up and I have a brand new G60 one sitting here - I think it will fit physicaly as they are both 02A but the one I have is only 1.1kW - is it worth trying or will it knacker it??

just a guess, but I'd reckon a vr6 would be way harder for the starter engine to turn over. It has 6 big muthaz to turn around. I don't know though, so wait for someone in the know :D

won't fit, the vr6 bellhousing is different.
