is this replaceable?

Hi, my friend kinda put his car in the ditch earlier this year. it turned out very little was damaged. however, he needs a new front bumper. In addition, the panel (a bit rusty) was bent backwards a bit. Is it replaceable, is it available from vag and / or gsf/eurocarparts (etc.), and how much should I expect to pay for it?

i dont think so, but you should be able to bend it back as it only joins the splitter to the bottom of the bumper and holds them in place.

i've done a quick etka check, and if .Rich., is right about it being that part than the part no is 535 807 181

Nah its not that, this is the thin metal that is connected directly to the front of the chassis and has a PAS cooling pipe which runs out through it and back in again.
