Geo 0 Posted March 8, 2006 As the title says. Has anyone got the part number for the charger oil return line? Just to save my sanity when I go to the stealer to order one
Ronan 0 Posted March 8, 2006 I wouldn't get one from the dealer, get an uprated stell braid one from G-werks.

Geo 0 Posted March 8, 2006 I already have the braided steel feed line, got it from Darren when he rebuilt the charger, it's just the return line I'm after now. The old one looks ok but the engine is in bits at the moment and it will be a hell of a lot easier to fit a new one now and have no worries rather than have to replace it a couple of months down the line. It looks like a right pig of a job with everything in situ.
Geo 0 Posted March 8, 2006 Thanks Gavin, looks like the bloody thing comes in different pieces, I suppose a piece of suitable hose should be ok on the existing ends?

h100vw 0 Posted March 8, 2006 Cai, just buy the rubber hose and replace the one in your line. Jubilee clips will replace the std ones. There won't be owt wrong with your hardware. Gavin
Geo 0 Posted March 8, 2006 Yeah think that's what I'll do. Thanks for the diagram anyway ;)
h100vw 0 Posted March 8, 2006 No worries and apologies for calling you Cai, when clearly you are in the wrong country...  Gavin
Geo 0 Posted March 8, 2006 No worries. I was wondering what that was about alright, thought cai might be some abbreviation I hadn't come across or something :D

Geo 0 Posted March 8, 2006 That is correct, the one I got from Darren was a geniune VW one.
