Replacing slam panel

Hi

 

Maybe going to replace the slam panel on the girlfriends C soon so I thought i'd be best asking on here for advice.... What not to do etc etc!

 

Its a 1990 16v by the way!

remove grill, lights, fogs indicators, splitter, bonnet

 

2 bolts each side for the bumper (no need to undoo the small middle one-youll know what i mean)

 

remove bumper, rad can stay in just unclip outta the way, not too many bolts for the slam panel itself........

 

re-fitting is reversal of removing :wink:

 

dont think i`ve forgotten anything

bonnet?!? why do you need to remove the bonnet? release cable, yes, bonnet, no, just open it! :lol:

:lol: just didnt want it to fall on your head when you took the slam panel off!!!!

 

never done just what a mate told me... jees was only trying to be helpful :lol:

 

(glad the rest of it was ok though)

Nah, the bonnet stay isn't attached to the slam panel... J-Dub's bonnet is propped open as normal at the moment and there's no slam panel on her (or wing, or bumper, or lights, or subframes, or front suspension, or..... :lol: )
