gollfy 0 Posted April 17, 2006 Im in a bit of a mess with my Rado 8v After fitting new gearbox after a bodge job from previous owner and taking out for a test drive, I could smell burning in engine bay and see smoke :cry: a little bit of smoke appeared in the car but minimal compared to what was under bonnet I cant see any visable burnt cables. However noticed sum prat had not put battery earth strap on that goes onto gearbox and had hidden it under the battery. These are the things that are not working Fuel pump No Ignition lights on dashboard (Oil/Battery light) Horn Indicators Electric windows Electric Mirrors Car turns over but does not start Everything else works:) I know this will probably be a new ecu/loom time but any sugguestions would be appreciated.
