Conlog Alarm

Hi - I have a conlog alarm (with total closure) on my car. Last few days it has been erractic with 2-3 attempts to get the central locking to unlock. Now the alarm does not work and the yellow and red leds on the dash don't light up.

 

I have searched through various threads but can't see anything like the problem I have.

 

I changed the fob battery some weeks ago and no problem. Today I have disconnected/reconnected the car battery with no joy.

 

Note, my car battery did go dead this morning. After charging up, the car started fine but surprisingly I do not have to override the immobiliser - strange. The central locking works OK with the key.

try inserting the remote in the overide socket to reset the system

Thanks for the response. One of the first things I tried. Alarm is quite old now and no prospect of spare parts. Think I have to invest in a new one.

I've had this happen to me a couple of times since I've had the car! (also got a conlog system..)

JamVR6, where do you live, as I know a man who can do alarms and immobilisers at a good price...and he is a C enthusiast as well!
