gaz the geezer 0 Posted May 1, 2006 you can check to see if the stickers are still in the boot loading area, usually stuck to the inside of the rear most panel, that can be a give away if they are missing ( on the odd occaision someone may have just removed them ), if the panel has been replaced then you will spot it straight away, it`s hard to replicate the factory finishing and harder still to make it look over 10 years old, HPI checks are going to cost, access to HPI checking isn`t for free unfortunately, maybe you could get the info from an insurance company ( why not your own insurers saying you are considering swopping cars )???? surely they would have the car flagged if it was a problem, might be worth a try or a totally useless piece of info
Storm_Man 0 Posted May 2, 2006 I have access to HPI. I called work to put that registration number in - 'K558 KBD' into Experian. No record of that registration number is found. If you double check the reg number, I can look again for you.....
