Just get the electronic controller at the same boost level it will still be better than the bleed valve.

I'm just on the lookout for a bottom end i can build up while i'm still running around in mine.

Wanna build a 1900 monster so i can really wind the boost up!!!

As for the shopping list, i still need:

1900cc : JE Pistons : Forged Rods : Lightened & Balanced : Piper 285 : Aquamist : Pro Alloy intercooler : Greddy Boost Control : Mocal Oil cooler : : 440cc Injectors

Oh dear, looks like i'm gonna be spending some cash!!!

your turnng up the airflow the pressure increase is due to no increase in port size against the greater volume of air.

tis all good anyway

whats the lag like on the vf24 on the 8v and hows the fitment cos its tight down there.

i got a spare G60 engine soon. may do a build.

Not sure about the 24, but on the 22, the fitment is VERY tight!!!!

I ran with a buggered front mount and broke the actuator bracket against the bulkhead!

Lesson hard learnt!

It is a little laggy, but when the boost kicks in, the torque is excellent!

i probly wouldn't have the same fitment issues. i fancy a mk2 golf drift car. engine in the back. probly room for the bigger blower then.

thats one of the main reasons i am going 16v. i wanted a big turbo. i was told spool can be a bit high on a good turbo too. a bit like a on off escort turbo style. i doubt the 16v will be any different though. ive moved my aims so many times now.

i know phat has done one but anybody elso go for the xflow 8v. would be nice to compare the 2.

Just finishing off a xflow turbo at the min. Should have bhp and torque figures to compare in a few weeks. Engine is built, just sorting pipework and few small bits and then mapping.

gotta be some flow advantages along with the bigger turbo possabilities and less heat on the intake. would be nice to see what thats worth.

what turbo you running on that leon.

Am trying to remember now. I think its .60 possibly with .48 exhaust. I think I have the specs at home somewhere, will check it out. There is so much more room with the inlet manifold gone now and turbo should be getting much more airflow in at it to help reduce heat levels. Access to everything is much better with the crossflow also.

ive gone t3/t4e 60 with a 0.63 stage 5 hotside. basically a non bb gt35. may upgrade to a "s" casing at some time in the future. it quite a big unit. probly wont see proper boost till 4k on the 16v.
