A few VR6 temperature questions !!!!!!!!!!

Hi guys

What sort of temperature does your VR's run at in normal driving.

I have just repaired mine and got it on the road and it runs fine but the fan kicks in after a few minutes in trafic when the temp gauge is reading 100 deg C. the fan cuts in for a few seconds then goes off when the temp of the motor drops so it isnt getting all that hot. the oil temp on the maf has never rose over 68 so i think the water temp sensor may be reading a little high.

What do you think ?????????????

Also i need a new centre exhaust box, and i dont want a boy racer Magnex or similar just a standard one is there any alternative to a new vw one.
