JMC 0 Posted May 24, 2006 I've got 2 replacement door seals, to replace my rather tatty ones. How much of a hassle is it to do this - it looks as though I'll have to remove all of the different trim panels (A and B pillar, and the bit along he bottom) to do this. :( Any advice would be fab folks :)
woody 0 Posted May 24, 2006 yep they all have to come off, I had to strip mine down the other week. Remember to be careful with the rear doorcards down the bottom near the front doors as these can be a little brittle. Half hour tops both sides if it stops raining. woody 0 Posted May 25, 2006 undo grap handle 2 x screws ( passenger side ) remove coat hangers (move plastic bit up towards the roof screw underneath), Removal of the plastic panels above door ( watch out for little white plastic clips about 10mm long (mine pinged all over the place ) Must be chaeap from VAG  Then undo the kick panel by door (passenger side two screws, drivers side 1 screw i think and one nut under gas pedel). I cant remember how the inside kick panel comes off (screws?). Hope that helps Cheers Woody
