Air bag light stays permanently on - what could the cause be

Recommended Posts

Hi

A friend of mine has a vauxhall astra (N-reg). The air bag light stays permanently on - what could the cause be? Not sure how different the airbag system is on the astra but wondered if anyone on here might know.

Thanks for any help.

Matt

Corrados didn't have airbags, so the system is quite different ;)

try a vauxhall forum, and do a search? (just watch out for a guy called Police_Driver, he'll tell you that the car goes faster with the light on as its glowing and therefore emmiting light, which travels faster than the car, and therefore pulls it along. A good example is when you crawl across frozen ice......)

Sorry we couldn't be any more help mate.

Kinda like asking on a Vauxhall site how to fix the active spoiler on a C, they wouldn't know as they are different beasts (i.e. one is a beast, the other isn't ;)).

Try that site I gave you, and if all else fails just remember, over inflate your tyres, only stick a tenners worth of petrol in and change the model badges to increase horse power.

good luck
