digital milometer dash conversion

Recommended Posts

As ive just stuck a g60 lump in my 89 valver,i though id just aswell fit the dash clocks aswell.

Mine had the single lcd clocks with speedo cable.

I noticed the twin lcd g60 clocks dont use a speedo cable,so i used the loom for them and the correct plug on gearbox but had a plug left over  .

Problem i have is,i got 2 wires round the wrong way on the fuse box and heard a pop. Ive checked the dash clocks, and dont have any lights working on it,nor the rev counter  The digital milometer and clock display works but nothing else.

Do you think this is because of my mistake with wires or is there something i havent plugged in?

Is there anything that would blow on the clocks that can be fixed or checked?

What part is the milometer stored on,as if i bought another set of clocks,id like the right milage on them

Any help greatly appreciated

ther are a few connections that need to be changed over for the clocks to work correctly and you need the digital speedo sender in the box.

drop me a pm with your email addres and ill send you a document with all you will need to know.

recently done this for the fourth time so still fresh in my head.

regards kevin

p.s did you use the g60 engine loom and lighting loom.or just the engine

What does this bit mean

"Before the alteration you have to make sure if the Digifant – tuner amplifier is suitable. Remove the plug of the Digifant – tuner amplifier and check if the Pol 24 is in existence. This is necessary as the number of revolutions – signal will be issued"

What plug is that?

i sent you the full document, for changing early to late clocks without changing loom and ecu,

as you have done the above ,you only need to start at section 5.
