kop10320178 0 Posted June 23, 2006 yes sometimes it blows when i use the switch yes i have changed the radio but when i bought the car the spoiler was unpluged so there was a fault already there i think when it did function it come up in stages rather than one smooth motion i`ve tried grease but now it does not work at all any suggestions????? kongo127 0 Posted June 24, 2006 Do you have any electrical skills? i would try to hotwire the spoiler motor to see if it moves ok and watch for current comsumption. KADVR6 0 Posted June 25, 2006 i had exactly the same problem, i changed relay/switch, in the end got a 2nd hand spoiler unit for a tenner, and it works 100% now. i took the motor apart in the old unit, and found out the bush's in the old unit were really badly corroded.
