Should taking the bumper off effect the alarm???

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

I took the front bumper off to get the stonechips taken out (if you'd ever seen the car, you know it's wayyy overdue!) on sunday, and twice now at stupid o clock in the morning, the alarm has gone nuts, repeteadly going off until I run down there and turn it off! :brickwall:

It's a Toad Ai606 and until now, I've never had a problem with it!

Cheers

Dave

Hi Bally

It's possible, I'll check it tonight.

But the alarm has gone off about 9 hours after arming twice in a row now.

Usually, if the bonnet isn't shut properly, it gives off a warning beep before going mental.

When I took off the bumper, I disconnected the fogs, the indicators and what looks like a temp sensor in the drivers side air duct for the brakes, could any of these effect the alarm?

Mind you, I'm just clutching at straws. :?
