Austin 0 Posted July 5, 2006 Got a '94 VR6 with a Kenwood cassette stereo and 6 CD changer. Suddenly stopped working on a very hot day during a motorway run. Hasn't worked since - permanent live is fine and earth is fine, but no power on the ignition live feed. Fuse in fuse box (which I guess is for permanent live) and stereo fuse are fine. So I guess I've got a dodgy ignition live ... but am clueless as to how to remedy ... have temporarily rigged stereo to permanent live so pls help before I forget to turn the stereo off and have a flat battery!
