Fez 0 Posted July 7, 2006 Does anyone know which relay controls the headlamps in a 91 C???
560 0 Posted July 7, 2006 Not sure they would go to a relay. Fuse positions however are. Fuse 1 = H/light low beam, left. Fuse 2 = H/light low bem , Right Fuse 11 = H/light High beam, left Fuse 12 = H/light High beam, Right
Fez 0 Posted July 7, 2006 reason being a garage changed my gear box and they took the battery out to charge it. when they clamped the battery back in they clamped the passenger side headlamp loomp with it. When I turned the main beam on I was greeted with a big cloud of smoke and only side light action. Full beam does not work either. I've since re wired the headlamps back to the fuse box and all fuses are fine. So i think either: The fuse box is fooooked The lamps are connected to a relay in some way and thats foooked or the on dash sidelight/main beam is foooked. Any suggestions gang? Any help greatly apprieciated.

h100vw 0 Posted July 9, 2006 It could have done the headlight switch or the dip switch on the column as well during your burnout. Have you done continuity checks through the system with a voltmeter? Gavin
