Poorly VR :(

Hi guys n gals

 

well car has been in bodyshop now for nearly 3 months due to various issues :x

 

however she is started every couple if not every days just to move it,

 

I did a oil change - filter new oil & tratment about a month ago and she was sweet as a nut...

 

 

however last few days there has been some problems

 

poped down today and she isnt too good at all :cry:

 

put petrol in to be sure but it wasnt that, it runs and tics over / revs ok but seems to be missing? (runnign on 5 maybe?? )

 

anyway nothing has been done under the bonnet so I cant understand whats going on...

 

and I havnt got a sparkplug tool to check if all is ok either...?

 

anyone in ther Peterborough area fancy having a lookie?

 

or does anyone have any ideas??

did you put optimax in ? i had something similar recently and a tank of good juice cleared it up and it has'nt returned 8)

 

mine would start and tick over perfect but anything above 2.5k and it was missing really badly (felt like 3cylinders)

ah well thats a good sign, it could just need a good run , it could be a coil pack, maf, leads, fuel filter etc etc but i'd give it a good run before diving in

Had same when left mine standing for a few days. Was horrible to drive- all lumpy, missing etc. Couple of good runs and new tank of Optimax sorted it totally.
