Finishing sprayed panels... How?

Hi

 

I've painted the wing on the Corrado now and was wondering how it should be finished off.

 

It was done with Aerosols (sp?) but its come out really well.... Really happy.

 

But now I need to fisnish it to a good shine so.....

 

I gather that Ihave to leave it a week or so to fully harden but what do I do after that?

 

i.e. what grit wet and dry should I use? Which cutting compounds? etc etc

 

Its a solid, non-metallic btw

i have some farcela G3/G10, cutting compounds if you need to borrow some mate, :wink:

go easy on the compound best doing it with loads of water and be carefull on the corners and creases, hope you've put a fair few layers on, aerosol paint is no where near as durable as 2 pack

You will need 1500 wet n dry,then use a fine cutting compound.

Im using an alternative to g3/g10 that is self lubricating and half the price
