How do I change the radiator on a VR6

Hi!

My rad blew over the weekend and I've got a new one. Just wondering if anyone can give me any tips on changing the rad before I attempt it this evening. Seems fairly straight forward but I've heard that there is a risk of getting an airlock if it's not blead properly? Any input would be really appreciated. Cheers guys.

The search is one of the best places to start. Try something like:

 

VR6 AND radiatior AND replac*

 

or

 

VR6 AND radiator AND chang*

I recently change my rad. Ended up removing bumper headlights and loosening top crossmember ( where bonnet latch locates)

Once you have clear access the job is not too bad.

Ahh! thought it might be possible to do it just by removing the top crossmember? In that case I'll probably send it into a garage. Only got about an hour to do it. Cheers.
