none of the foglights or the sidelight work......any ideas?

broke the headlight switch? maybe why your sidelights don't work... ;) :lol:

 

Fogs will only come on if the sidelights are on... I'd be checking the fuses carefully to see if something odd's going on there which would stop your sidelights from working, thus stopping the fogs from ever coming on... ;)

Start with the fuses, placements are printed on the fuse box cover. The sidelights being blown may prevent the fogs from working. After that it could be the switch. I doubt all 4 sidlight bulbs have gone at once.

the foglight fuse is blown! so that explains why none of the 4 fogs come on.

 

im guessing that the dead front bulb maybe something to do with the broken headlight switch.

well that was a fun £48.50 on a new headlight switch.....

 

the foglights blowing was due to a random spade connector rattling about in the rear fog light appeture and shorting it.....

 

wiper blades replaced....

 

only thing left is the passenger side side light...cos i cant get my sausage fingers in there!

big_chris1981, undo the 3 screws and remove the headlamp, it's a damn site easier than trying to do it in situe! :lol: ;)

ill second that. and when you slide the headlight out they allways want to go down and out so to speak and scratch your bumper. Put somecloth between the bumper and that thin metal strip above it.

 

it may just be me, but if its not youll thank me as i put a bl..dy great scratch on my bumper doing it the first time.
