Looks lovely... I really like those wheels, they compliment the smooth look really well... :D I've always preferred the earlier bonnet, makes the front of the car seem lower and slightly squarer and more agressive IMHO... 8)

The no side repeaters is a nice touch too, makes the side look much less cluttered... :)

With those mods I'd estimate between 180 and 190 BHP, although if it's a nice loose engine, you could be up near 200... :D Time to put her on a rolling road and find out!

Thanks lads, appreciate the comments,

I forgot about the side repeaters, I'm so used to looking at it without them I forget they were there.

Yeah that's about what I thought. I'm hoping to get a bigger intercooler in the near future, will get it on the rollers once I have that sorted & it's been in Jabba for a service & a set up.

EXCELLENT!!! wheres that welder.....:?

Was already done when I got it mate. I can only assume the wing ether came with out the indicator holes or a plate was welded on the back of the wing & it's been filled.

Cheers Bally

Can someone please email me about this headlight wiring loom as my headlights are next to s..t.

Very nice car, I've always wanted a G60 but had to settle for a 1.8 16V to start with until I win the lottery :0)

Yes & no, I did love the RS they are wicked cars, but aren't realiable cars when your stick extra 70 horses under the bonnet. It was the biggest money pit!! It was forever costing me. It's nice having a bit of money & a nice car at the moment. I would have another one in a few years to come, but only as a project/weekend/summer car.

I no what you mean about a money pit, mate of myns been building an S2 which he's spent £3.5k which doesn't include the £2k he paid for it  plus it still ain't on the road yet! 2.1 zetec turbo though :D

As for the C, I'm glad I've finally got one :D

I want a old RS1600i oneday as a show car, one of me favourites..

Anyway, we best stick to VW chat, someone may read this & get upset

I wonder which car people prefer in that line up, lol.

That is really cruel, putting more photos of your car up, esp a close up of those lovely wheels, I was envious enough after the first photos.

Cheers for the help with the wiring loom, still trying to find out about it and if it is worth the money spent, 16vg60 has been saying that he has a loom without crimping or something, proper connectors?

G60Dan,

I really like that smooth bumper you've got, do you know how much roughly it would cost to get a number plate recess filled?

Is that a smaller number plate you've got on the front?, do u ever get any hassle from the law about it, does it pass an mot like it?

I haven't a clue how much it would cost to get this done I'm afraid. A previous owner had it done. However, I do know the guy that actually carried out the work, worked in a TVR body shop, so he was a plastic welding specialist (as TVR's are predominantly plastic/fibre glass) Other than buying some kind of aftermarket bumper, this is probably going to be the best way to have it done. I don't think just filling would last more than a few years before it started to look a bit ropey.

I haven't had any problems from the plod as yet, a mate of mine owned the car for over a year, he didn't have any problems ether & MOT's all went fine. I'm still a bit cautious when driving about.
