Water in engine bay.

Recommended Posts

Right.... I went through a rather large puddle in the road today. The Corrado kept on running so i thought i was alright. Anyway came back to the car 20 mins later and she wouldn't start. So i had a look around my engine bay to see where the water had gotten to. I took of the dizzy cap off and there was water inside there. So i put some WD40 over the inside and cleared all the water out. Yay she started....... but only if my foot is on the throttle. Any ideas what has happened? Anyone else had similar experiences in the storms this week?
