fookin sub and amp aint working!!!

my sub has packed in, seems simple to test everything an it all seems fine. does anyone know anywhere in lincoln i can bring it that will have a look and sort it cheaply???

If you push the cone in on the sub with your hand does it make a grating sound mate?

i dont think it does make a sound when pushed, its really frustrating!!! any other ideas or tests??

Have you earthed your head unit through the loom? I used to get this all the time, the amp would cut out when i put something else on, such as light, heater etc...

Try giving the head unit it's own earth off of the nearest available point. Worked for me...
