Replacing lambda in 2.0l 16v

Recommended Posts

Can anyone tell me where the lambda probe wiring actually goes on a 2.0l 16v? I guess directly to the ECU? Is there anything I should know before trying to do this job, like any particular method of doing it, or is it as simple as feeding the new probe down from the ECU to where it is monuted in the exhaust?

Cheers

no no no, there's a little plug for it down the back left side of the engine on a little bracket. The sensor has a cable of apprx 35cm which is just enough to get away from the heat.

Superb! Cheers dude, I'd not even looked under the car yet, so wasn't sure where the connector was.

Thanks

The connector is got to from under the bonnet, you only need to 'get dirty' when accessing the sensor.
