Jim Bowen 1 Posted October 24, 2006 I have the standard vw alarm, scorpion VAG 5000, i also have 3 keys fobs to unlock car etc two are buggered, now the third is playing around, i just stood outside local shops for ages trying to unlock car :oops: can they be replaced for any other ones? how is it done? or do i need to replace the whole alarm? I've got the same prob with mine, and nobody makes the fobs anymore, so I have to use the key and have the alarm off the whole time. Got a separate immobiliser though. Would like remote locking again though. Have a search on Google for replacements as there are quite a few places still stock old fobs etc. This looks worth a look.
