ilovemycar 0 Posted November 10, 2006 May be a dumb question (no change there then) - is there a Corrado racing league? I really want to do this, maybe not even racing with other cars, but maybe timed laps or similar? Has such a thing been done? I don't want to kill my car, but I do want to learn to drive it better. My local motor club has "grass roots" races, laps around a grass track, which I may enter next year, and hill climbs - don't think the C would really be made for this, but would be fun anyway - anyone done anythig similar with their cars? bcstudent 0 Posted November 10, 2006 I think track days may be the best starting point. Goodwood, Thruxton and Castle Coombe are the closest to Devon...but not *that* close. http://www.trackdays.co.uk/
ilovemycar 0 Posted November 10, 2006 Nothing is close to Devon, nothing. So, to get the most from a track day, what should I do? My car is pretty much bog standard - should I lower it? Do I need anything else? How much is a track day? What about tyres? Do you just get to blat around, or do you get someone to come and tell you how to get the most out of the your car? Will there be people ther who will laugh at me?
