slant 0 Posted November 14, 2006 I just got my car back from the body shop, I got rear ended a couple of weeks ago. The repair job looks great, but now my trunk light wont shut off. I havent been able to find any pin switches so im not sure how the light works. Id like to know before I go back to the body shop and complain about it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. catch_twotwo 0 Posted November 14, 2006 It's a switch inside the boot lock from what I know... 333 947 561 - switch for luggage boot light Got one on order myself. just unplug the boot light to stop it draining the battery.
Supercharged 2 Posted November 14, 2006 Yeah, common problem, switch is cheap - take the bulb out for now...
slant 0 Posted November 15, 2006 I figured out the light was on pretty quick pretty quick, I have a 2 way alarm so when I tried to arm it it told me the hatch was open. I just didnt know where the switch was, thanks for the help. BTW, im reading this sorta early in the morning, took me a second to figure out why you guys kept saying "boot". I got it though. Just thought you might find that a little funny.
