damp driver's seat belt

Recommended Posts

when it rains the driver's seatbelt in my rado becomes damp. Read in a book of review's about the corrado that this happend on a 12 month old vr6. has anyone else experienced this problem? i think it may be to do with the seal around the rear window on the driver's side, but its just a guess. any ideas?

Welcome to the forum...

Doubtfull it will be the seal as they're bonden (unless it's been out / badly fitted etc)

Check the sunroof drain channels - basically water goes thru the seal and sits on the tray you see as you open the roof, there are 2 holes where the water runs to the wheel arches - rod these out with a bike brake cable or guitar string...

my passenger side window leaks slightly, can see the front window has a tiny gap where it doesn't close all the way, only a gap of about 3mm tho and its not a hole, i.e: is that black stuff behind it but it leaks a little
