Supercharged Junkie 0 Posted December 4, 2006 Hi all Having problem with my central locking, seems to do it when its really wet like recently thought i fixed it but it started doing it again :-( Problem- All the doors lock ok, but when you unlock them sometimes they lock again straight away, other times you can hear them lock when you are driving along..and to be really annoying sometimes they work!!! What i done so far- Right so far, had the vacuum pump out of the boot and replaced with a spare one, still locks by itself Had both door cards off and looked at the actuators which both seem ok, check wiring going to actualtors and that seem ok. Have de-locked passat door handles so no wires going to handles. The only thing i have noticed is that when you unlock the doors both doors actualtors going up then slowly sink down about 2-3mm. Not sure if that is causing the c/l to then lock the doors? Also noticed the passenger side door pin doesn`t activate the c/l anymore? c/l works fine locking the doors, just unlock is an issue A bit embarrassing being locked in your own car and can`t get out :oops: Any ideas because am lost now, gonna try putting the old vacuum pump back in Cheers Ian Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
