Door and dash speakers

Hi all, can anyone tell me where the crossover is situated for the door and dash speakers, as I am planning an upgrade and I wanted to remove the old units. Also can anyone reccomend a decent pair of rear speaker to replace the factory units 6x4 I think they are? Thanks

iirc its actually on the back of the tweeter on the dash (if it is a crossover ?) , the oem speaker pods are too small to get a really decent sound from, i tried a few sets and then bought audioscape pods with focal components

 

for what was an expensive car when new, the audio is one of the worst i've ever heard in standard form

do a search on the 6x4's, i seem to remember peeps liking the jbl and infinity units

yeah, audioscape for the pods, and JBL for the rears I think was the flavour of choice.

 

as said above, do a search, but i'm pretty sure that was the general opinion

i was told mine have all been replaced for infinitys ones, but still sounds crap to me, very rattly, i think it may be the car that rattles :(

3corsameal, the fronts just arent big enough to give a "big sound" in the oem door pods
