MOT Failure - What to do?

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Took the corrado in for it MOT and it has failed miserably.

Basically going to cost around £500 to put right, needs welding, new silencer, suspension bushes, handbrake cable, 2 new tyres, track rod ends. And thats all I can remember off the sheet.

I dont have the cash to sort it being xmas time so I reckon I should sell it.

Its a 1.8 16v H reg, 130k miles, in white, and the body is fine in someplaces but not great in others.

Any ideas what I should fetch for it without MOT or tax?

Cheers.

Not a lot with that amount of work required. I hate to say it, but you may get more money back by breaking it. To sell whole is probably only going to raise £400-500.
