Critical_Mass 10 Posted December 30, 2006 Would this have been cause by said hole or just a coincidence? Yeah hitting a pot hole can damage a tyre like that. Going to have to get a new tyre, is it ok to replace one or best to get a pair, and would the council or roads depo fork out for this. The only way to go is to get it replaced. Damage like that to the tyre wall cannot be repaired. Plus its the part of the tyre that takes the most punishment when in use, with cornering etc. So id be safe and get a new one anyway even IF it could be repaired.
