Plus points:

 

Incredibly comfortable

Grip and security of the four wheel drive

Surprisingly quick

Quiet and refined

Still get some looks - now that it is non-standard

Climate control

 

Bad points:

 

Not as economical: 29 mpg - was getting 36 out of the G60

Not as much fun to drive

 

Definitely made the right decision to go down the Passat route, just glad I've still got a G60 tucked up in the garage though

yeah just bought a B5 passat 20VT for winter, really comfy and you can just jump in drive and not worry bout anything! Fuel economy aint the best and its boring but cant wait for the Vr next summer!
