The_Dude 0 Posted December 22, 2006 I thought my C was a bit louder today and when i got out i saw this. It seems my exhaust has migrated and started melting my bumper into a new shape. Great. Another one for the list of to-do's over christmas.
Supercharged 2 Posted December 22, 2006 Yeah - looks like a poor fit or one of the brackets has moved or a broken rubber?
dub envy 0 Posted December 22, 2006 I dont know why we all bother keeping our cars nice when all they do is stupid things like that. I hate cars.
Jim 2 Posted December 22, 2006 We keep em for those days when the car is all waxed and clean, the sun is shining, and you have your favourite tune blasting, and you're booting it down a favourite section of road.. you know that not much else feels better than that :) The occasional let downs can be forgiven for when its all going well :)
dub envy 0 Posted December 22, 2006 Yeah I know.. I've just got the hump with mine. A whole list of things broken/breaking on it. Oh, and as for having my favourite tunes blasting, well my headunit turns itself off if I turn it up louder than vol 9. Great.
The_Dude 0 Posted December 22, 2006 i think maybe one or more of the rubbers has gone, they were looking tired last time i looked underneath. i put up with the faults cos its such a wicked car to drive. It puts a smile on my face every time i get behind the wheel, can't ask for anything more. except power. Jim - i wholeheartedly agree. yet it is a difficult thing to imagine in this fookin weather. peversely, it was actually when i turned down my tunes that i heard the 'zorst booming through the bodywork.
