195/50 on 7J?

Recommended Posts

I've had the C a month now and the tyres and rank. A couple of punctures seem the ideal time to get them replaced. The car currently has 15"x7J Borbet C's with 195/50 tyres, should I get the same size replacements or go for a slightly wider tyre to since the wheel is wider than standard?

ive got 195/45s on my 7.5s. I also had 205/40s on them before and i like them bnoth. Just be careful which tyre you go for as it makes alot of difference.

Just been looking for 205's and there isn't much choice. Looks like I'll stick to the 195's. Probably going to go for Uniroyal Rainsports.

I've got 195-50-15's Goodyear Eagle F1's on my 7J 15" Wheels.

My wheels are off a BMW and when I bought them they had 205-50-15's on, and looked really chubby.

Mine are in no way low profile, but look much bette, and at £35 quid each, pretty cheap! :)

I rate the Avon ZZ3s highly. They do them in 205s.

Was looking through an old PVW mag last night, a corrado with 9" x 15" wheels had 195/45's!
