hayes100 0 Posted January 23, 2007 hi people well my vr6 has a slight missfire which i don't seem to be able to fix but it is starting really badly it always has done it turns over well (as far as i can tell) but it splutters alot befor firing up it does start it turns over for about 10 seconds. i have had the coil pack done spark plugs done and ht leads and the fuel pump done and temp sender to try and fix it but doesn't seem to have done anything anyone else had this problem any welp is great Tim Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

CazzaVR 0 Posted January 25, 2007 Usually on OBD1 cars, it should splutter and die when the MAF is unplugged. Sounds like it could well be the MAF. Definately worth checking the ISV too. Whereabouts are you? I've got a spare MAF you could try. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
