Supercharged 2 Posted January 31, 2007 I picked up some cheap JBL's to match the 6 by 4's in the rear of the TDI, 5 1/4 for the doors went in fine and I knew they were connected to the tweeters in some way but I assumed there was a crossover somewhere... Basically I have some 3 1/2" 2-ways I want to stick in the tweeter location, the physically fit fine but I didn't realise the signal passed thru these first before going to the doors... The original tweets seem to have a capacitor on the plate (which I thought was a low pass fiter??) so maybe no seperate crossover so should I be ok just joining the wires together to send the sound down to the doors..?
