smudge 0 Posted October 22, 2003 Got a problem with my corrado already (only had it four weeks). Only happens occationally but increasingly frequently. Turn the ignition and starts fine but as soon as the revs. drop back towards idle the engine cuts very quickly - i.e. no stutter just dies. Battery is newish new oil cooler recently fitted - not relevant but for completeness! idle is normally around 650 does need new throttle cable -thanks for the help on that one - think thats it Going to Glenrothes soon for exhaust and cable but any ideas before I go? Cheers Smudge
Danger Mouse 0 Posted October 22, 2003 my old golf (well still trying to sell it) had the same problem and it was the throttle that needed replacing. You might wanna give that a check
