Front Strut Braces

Hi,

 

Mock fitted the strut brace today while the engine was out, and it seems that there's not much room for the expansion tank - it's going on a G60 but the brace was for a VR - should there be any difference, and has anyone got a pic of an installed strut brace on a G60?
