Washed my vr6 used some colour magic on it, but its still not shinning as i would like :? , should i try t-cut? or whats the best polish 2 make my C really shine.

I heard Meguires is excellent stuff...

 

And if you fancy paying out a little, Swissol polish makes your car look stunning!

meguires CLAY is about £12 and is sorta like putty with polish in it...its fantastic stuff! leaves your car looking like glass. :twisted:

T cut is good stuff but bear in mind what it does (CUT the paint), after applying it you should then wax it to protect the 'new' paintwork

 

Also bear in mind that there is T cut and Metallic T cut

 

Another tip - keep it on the paint only... DO NOT get it on the black plastic trim or window seals!

 

Can also recomend Clay Barring as an alternative - really good finish

Instead of T-cut try 2 capfuls of Mer after pre-wetting the car and getting the muck off--leave it to dry then shampoo it off and rinse etc.

Do this about 3 or 4 times depending on the fade you have then try a good wax after this process--it worked for me anyway.

Mer acts as a less abrasive cutter than T-cut in my opinion.

See other threads about this but the best method for te results you require:

 

Don't use T-cut, far too abbrasive, Mer far too dusty (IMO)

 

Wash

Clay the car,

Use a paint cleaner

Wax the car,

wash the car frequently with a detergent free shampoo,

wax the car monthly

 

Using the above products WILL get the results that I believe that you are after from your paintwork.

 

p.s. Cay bars do not have any polish in them......they are just a special type of clay
