Rear Light Tints

As the title suggests, I'm unsure as to which colour to go with.

 

Red or Smoked?

 

Does any body have a rear end piccie :shock: to help me decide?

I would say smoked, as a different red to the body of the car may look odd.

 

why not get a close up pic of the rear of your car, and get someone to photoshop it for you?

I don't have photoshop at work, but looking at that pic, I would still say tinted/smoked

 

I have 'smoked' FKs on the back of mine, but I am going to be painting out the silver round the edges, and tinting the lense next week

I originally bought some smoked rears from ARZ, but after 7 weeks of them not showing, I've had a refund.

 

Nipped down my local Halfauds yesterday and they told me they don't do tinting spray so where should I go for it?

i have the crystal Inpros on mine and i think the suit the colour (albeit a slightly different from yours) -

Kick Up The Rs, Halfords DO stock the tinting spray. But unless youve got skills its hard to do imo. Id go with the smoked as Therapor said.

I'm pretty handy at these sort of this so I'll give it a go. I'll post the results over the weekend.

I just buy my tint spray from my local auto place.

 

Halfrauds do stock it too.

 

not hard to use, just be gentle, as they can turn very dark very quickly if you are too heavy handed

thats what i did years ago ....

Yeah do thin layers of paint. Put it on too thick and itll run and look a dog.
