latestarter2 0 Posted March 19, 2007 Odd one this one.. There seems to be slight whistle coming from the gearbox but it disappears when I apply pressure to the clutch pedal? Doesnt have to be pushed all the way in just the slightest pressure and the whistle disappears. Anyone know what on earth could be causing this? Supercharged 2 Posted March 19, 2007 High pitch? - release bearing i'm afraid... To change it thats a clutch change really but it may be fine for a while, just annoying... If it goes away with the clutch only very slightly depressed then you may want to mod the pedal slightly or stick a cable tie around the stop...
