brookescourt 0 Posted October 28, 2003 I'm going to veiw a car on Friday with the 1.8 t engine (Audi A4 Avant 1.8 T Sport) It's covered 73k with a FSH. With good maintenanc what is the lifespan of these engines and what sort of fuel economy do they give? Does anyone know when the cambelt should be changed and is there anything to be looking for, faults, common problems etc? Any opinions on the above car? Cheers guys, Rob. Amy 0 Posted October 29, 2003 My golf Vr did 28 mpg, but my raddo 1.8T does 33 mpg :shock: well impressed with that :D We just bought a leon with the auq engine and 6 speed box (exactly the same as in my raddo) fsh but at 70k it hasnt had a cambelt change .... its getting one today :) Amy Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
