vr6storm 0 Posted October 28, 2003 always been a fan of the Mk2 GTi and quite like the Mk1 but never really have thought much of the Mk3 til lately.........especially since i first seen ess_three's "peach" of a 16v GTi anniversary.........anyway i can't believe how cheap the Mk3 can be had for these days......ok its a bit "dumpy and bloated" and the 8v ain't exactly the last word in speed but friends of mine have just recently picked up a decent looking M-reg FSH 16v 5dr GTi(141k miles tho) for just over £1.5k :shock: :shock: and have just fitted the (AAA) 2.8 VR6 lump into it over the weekend all in all for just about £2k inc purchase of the car so just some minor fettling to the sides and the wheels refurbed and they will have one tidy Golf VR6 GTi conversion anyway anyone else warming to the Mk3 Golf or is it just my old-age showing :wink: Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
