VR6 FANS?

Recommended Posts

Just returned home after a weekend away and the Corrado never missed a beat despite a good ragging on the m6 toll road.

However, when we got home i thought i would just have a quick peep under the bonnet to make sure everything was still there, and i found a thin rubber belt around the righthand side fan motor. Now i am new to these cars so please bare with me, but the second fan doesn't have a motor so i guess that the one fan when activated powers the second fan with this belt?

If this is the case, how does the belt secure to the fans?

So looking at that, the belt should be at the front of the fan and not at the rear where i found mine?

Ah Haa! job done. Not the easiest thing to replace when you have fingers the size of sausages.

Also noticed that the car may have had a wing replaced and a new pattern radiator.

oh hum..

Sill it is a 13 year old car.

Thanks for your help and those great diagrams "Son of Beesting"
