nikjenx 0 Posted October 29, 2003 I'm new to the forum but have had my 93 16v 2.0L Corrado for almost 2 years now but have noticed that the alloys are starting to tarnish. The alloys are standard but was wondering whether this is a common problem. It's getting worse and spreading. Other than buying a new set of alloys can I get this sorted? Thanks

Bally 0 Posted October 29, 2003 Hi mate & welcome to the site.. If the rims are the diamond cut rims, then yes they will begin to corrode, its the salt & chips which makes them go after a while, your probably looking at about £150 to get them all looking mint again, but once an alloy starts to corode theirs no real way of stoping it.. hope this helps.. Bally 0 Posted November 7, 2003 best bet would be ask around local garages etc see if anyone can put you in touch with any wheel refurbers...
nikjenx 0 Posted November 7, 2003 Do I keep with the originals and spend £150 on refurbishment or do I fork out for a new set? Decisions, decisions?!? Thanks anyway
