Marooned in garage

Recommended Posts

Tried all the fixes on the other threads but my alarm will not stp at all when i reconnect the battery and will not reset. It's very tight in my garage too--so i'm getting really fed up.

Looks like it will have to stop there forever!!

There is a "button type thing" in the engine bay that when the bonnet goes down, it presses the button down. In my exp with my alst alarm, if this button wasnt pressed down, my alarm would continuouslt go off.

Other solution, is to D/C alarm. Im not expert btw, but good luck in ur efforts.

If its a Cobra, i'm guessing its a 7928 (I think) - same as I used to have on my G60, and the same that i've seen a few Corrado owners with.

Could it be a bad switch / sensor somewhere? Very unfond memory of my bonnet alarm switch breaking apart, and me not being able to set the alarm without it going off at 3am a few years ago :|
