toddster900 0 Posted April 17, 2007 Hi Guys I know this is well documented throughout the forum but i have a slighlty differant issue. I have a 2.0l 16V. When i bought the car i knew there were problems with the drivers side window as it did not run too smoothly. When i took off the door card to investigate it became apparent that some one had made a right f**k up of what ever they had done witht the motor and assembly. All the rivets had been drilled out but none replaced!! The motor was being held by one bolt and a cable tie. I spent a few hours trying to figure out how it should be held in and eventually gave up and put the whole thig back together. So basically i need to know is it possible for me to rivet the motor back in now or will i have to take it out to get everything back into some thing resembling the correct set up. Also i have not been able to find any detailed pics of the whole set up, does any one have or know of any? Sorry to ramble on but just really want to avoid removing the motor assembly unless i really have to after what i have already read!! Thanks Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
